join for you child gif pta

Who can register?

We encourage every family at Mountain Meadows to join PTA to support the success of their students. We want a diverse membership base that reflects all of the families and needs of the students at our school.

How do I join?

Visit our online registration system here: https://jointotem.com/ca/moorpark/mountain-meadows-elementary-pta/join/register

What are the membership dues?

Our PTA’s annual membership fee is just $10, which helps support valuable programs and services for student learning and family engagement. California’s membership year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. So don’t forget to renew your membership in the fall!

What is required of PTA members?

The only requirement is to pay the membership dues. Beyond that, however you choose to PTA is up to you! Membership in the PTA can involve as much or as little time as you have to offer. There is no wrong or right way to get involved — anything you can give, whether it's a donation of time or money, will support your child’s potential!

Why join PTA?

There are numerous parent groups out there, but there is only one PTA! Connecting families and schools for 120 years, PTA is the largest children’s advocacy organization in the country.

Here are just a few reasons to join PTA:

  • Connect: Find out what’s happening in your school and develop a relationship with your child’s teacher and principal.

  • Discover: The PTA offers a variety of programs and materials for students, parents, families, schools and communities.

  • Speak up: PTA gives you a “seat at the table” when important decisions are made about your child’s school.

  • Be a role model: While serving as a PTA member or officer, you’ll build your leadership, communication and advocacy skills, and demonstrate those skills to your children.

  • Benefits: PTA members enjoy exclusive member perks including discounts on school supplies, rental cars and wireless services.

  • Make a difference: Our members have helped advance local, state and national laws and policies to improve the education, health and safety of all children.
